Who is posting here?

This web site (“Cranbrook Community”) is setup by Vincent Paul Wilton (“me”, “I”) as an individual. Unless I have expressly say otherwise no post or comment here or on any of my social media should be taken as, and is not:

• a statement by me as a Town Councillor of Cranbrook Town Council
• a statement for, or by, Cranbrook Town Council itself

In other words, if you want to know what the official view of the Town Council is on any matter, you need to contact the Town Council - as a general rule Councillors are not able to speak on behalf of the Council - although I am of course allowed my own views (and that's thus what I share here).

What does this mean?

In practical terms, anything said here or on my social media is a representation by me personally - this may or may not reflect my views as a Councillor, or that of the Council - but I am not claiming to be providing my views in either capacity.

If you want to know my view as a Town Councillor, please contact me via the official contact information on the Cranbrook Town Council Web Site.

If you want to know the Town Council's policy on any matter or have an official response from the Town Council, you must contact them directly and ordinarily the Town Clerk will respond in their capacity as the Council's representation.
